Travel Festival 2026: Garuda Indonesia Offers 390 Thousand Promo Tickets Ranging From Domestic Flights Through To Umrah Pilgrimage.

Garuda Indonesia is offering over 390,000 promotional seats through the 2026 Garuda Indonesia Travel Festival (GATF). This offer covers domestic flights, international flights, as well as Umrah religious pilgrimage travel packages.

This travel festival will be held simultaneously across seven cities on 28–30 August 2026. For the first time, Garuda Indonesia is combining the GATF and the Garuda Indonesia Umrah Travel Fair (GUTF) into a single event series.

"Running simultaneously across seven major cities from 28 to 30 August 2026, this event brings over 390,000 promotional seats for a wide range of domestic, international, and Umrah travel destinations," stated Garuda Indonesia VP of Global Sales & Distribution Micky Irfandi in Jakarta.

Carrying the theme "Where Every Journey Begins", this festival is designed to make it easier for the public to plan leisure, business, or religious travel all the way through August 2027.

Held Across Seven Cities

GATF 2026 will take place at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Sun Plaza Medan, Palembang Indah Mall, Tunjungan Plaza 3 Surabaya, Trans Studio Bali, Mall Ratu Indah Makassar, and Mall Jayapura.

Meanwhile, the GUTF series will run at three locations: Jakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar.

This festival involves more than 160 travel agent partners, with 81 partners participating in GATF and another 81 partners for GUTF.

GATF is organised in partnership with Bank Mandiri as the official banking partner, while GUTF has partnered with Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI).

Promotional Fares From Domestic Routes All The Way To Europe

During GATF 2026, Garuda Indonesia is offering special fares for various domestic routes.

Sample return fares include Jakarta-Lombok starting from IDR 2.3 million, Bandung-Denpasar starting from IDR 2.2 million, Jakarta-Ambon starting from IDR 4.5 million, Jakarta-Sorong starting from IDR 5.3 million, and Jakarta-Jayapura starting from IDR 7.4 million.

For international routes, offers include return Jakarta-Singapore fares starting from IDR 3.2 million, Jakarta-Shanghai from IDR 5.9 million, Jakarta-Seoul from IDR 6.4 million, Jakarta-Sydney from IDR 7.9 million, and Jakarta-Amsterdam from IDR 9.5 million.

"All listed fares above already include applicable cashback for transactions made using Mandiri Credit or Debit Cards," he added.

Garuda Indonesia's partner airline network also provides access to onward destinations including Busan, Osaka, Auckland, Paris, and Oslo.

Additional Benefits And Facilities

Offers are not limited to just ticket prices. Visitors will also be eligible for up to 50% discount on selected services, including prepaid baggage, Advance Seat Selection, Garuda Priority Service, and Garuda Executive Lounge access.

Other offers include airport transfer services, tourist attractions bookings via Garuda Things To Do, and products from the Garuda Experience Store.

Special event-only programmes include a "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" promotion, various travel and shopping vouchers, as well as a grand prize draw for one Toyota Innova Zenix Hybrid EV unit.

GarudaMiles members will receive up to triple miles bonus, up to 30% discount on Redemption Saver Award Tickets, up to 15% discount on partner airline redemption tickets, and welcome bonuses for new members.

Bank Mandiri customers can get up to IDR 7 million cashback, 0% instalment plans up to 12 months for credit card holders, bonus GarudaMiles, plus additional transaction promotions and lucky draws.

Combining GATF and GUTF means visitors can also browse religious pilgrimage travel options at the same festival event.

Special group booking rates for Jeddah flights are also available starting from IDR 14.6 million.
