Putri Nusantara Indonesia concluded their run at the 2026 Srikandi Merdeka Cup with a victory. The U-16 women's national team defeated Jordan 3-1 in the final Group B match held at the Supersoccer Arena, Kudus Regency, Central Java.
However, this win was not sufficient to carry Putri Nusantara through to the semi-finals. The result only placed Takumi Tanaguchi's squad in third position of Group B.
Meanwhile, Thailand and Jordan qualified for the semi-finals as the group champion and runner-up respectively.

Putri Nusantara Played Aggressively
Putri Nusantara immediately stormed Jordan's defence right from kickoff, which resulted in their opening goal at the 7th minute.
Lintang Anugrah Radisty took advantage of an error
The goal originated from a poor clearance by Jordanian goalkeeper Alma Mouhanad Yousef Shatat. The loose ball fell to Lintang, who fired a volley straight into Jordan's goal. Putri Nusantara took a 1-0 lead.
Jordan responded by increasing their attacking pressure, but failed to score an equaliser.
Instead, Putri Nusantara earned an opportunity in the 37th minute when the referee awarded a penalty for a foul committed by a Jordanian player inside the penalty box.
Dian Aprilia Pary stepped up as the penalty taker and executed the kick perfectly, extending Putri Nusantara's lead to 2-0.
Jordan Briefly Mounted A Comeback
Entering the second half, both teams made a number of player substitutions. Jordan began pushing forward more boldly and managed to narrow the score gap. Ragad Rafat Harbi beat Putri Nusantara goalkeeper Naura Airis in the 60th minute, bringing the score to 2-1.
Jordan grew in confidence and continued pressing hard for an equaliser, while Putri Nusantara also needed additional goals to keep their qualification chances alive in Group B standings.
Disaster struck for Jordan in the 79th minute when their goalkeeper once again failed to make a proper clearance.
Indira Fatimah did not waste the opportunity, converting the chance to make the score 3-1.
Jordan were unable to produce any further response before the match ended. Putri Nusantara locked in the 3-1 victory.
Unfortunately, the three points earned were still not enough to turn the team's fortunes around in the tournament.
Jordan still qualified for the semi-finals as Group B runner-up, joining group winner Thailand. Meanwhile Putri Nusantara closed out the group stage finishing in third place.
