To promote Banten tourism, the Banten Provincial Government is collaborating with Master Limbad to produce an educational film.

The Banten Provincial Government has partnered with magician and actor Salim Babad, also known as Master Limbad, to develop an educational film focused on local culture and regional tourist destinations. This collaboration is expected to become a new method to introduce Banten's tourism wealth to a wider public.

The film will be produced by Master Cinema Production (MCP) through collaboration with the Banten Provincial Regional Board of the Indonesian Tourism Community (IPI). This project receives full support from the Banten Provincial Government.

Banten Governor Andra Soni stated that the local government welcomes this agenda positively. According to him, educational films can become part of efforts to strengthen tourism promotion while introducing Banten's culture through a medium that is more relatable to the public.

"We fully support this agenda," he stated.

This educational film is believed to be an effective promotional instrument. Aside from introducing tourist destinations, this film is also expected to convey messages about the importance of preserving Banten's local cultural values.

Banten has diverse tourism potential that does not only rely on natural beauty. Rich traditions and the lives of indigenous communities are also core attractions of this region located at the western tip of Java Island.

Head of the Banten Provincial Tourism Office Eli Susiyanti stated that Banten's natural and cultural tourism potential has high appeal and has already received national recognition.

Among the region's cultural heritage are traditional agrarian ceremonial practices of the Kasepuhan Banten Kidul community in Lebak Regency, distinctive cultural traditions in Pandeglang Regency and the indigenous Kanekes people, as well as various urban cultural attractions that have developed in Tangerang City and Cilegon City.

"A number of these traditional agendas have been registered in the Nusantara Charisma Events list, and the Banten Provincial Government continues to encourage more local cultural assets to qualify for the same recognition," she stated.

The inclusion of various Banten cultural events in the Nusantara Charisma Events (KEN) program acts as one of the important foundations to expand the region's tourism appeal.

It is hoped that this educational film will bring stories of these traditions beyond formal performance spaces, reaching potential tourists through screen media.

Fairuz Luthfi, Chairman of the Banten Provincial IPI Regional Board, also welcomed this collaboration. According to him, Banten's tourism and cultural wealth requires more massive promotion strategies to gain wider recognition, not only at national level but also internationally.

"Through this educational film production plan, we hope that Banten's tourism and cultural potential can be promoted to a much wider audience," he explained.

With its abundant natural and cultural wealth, Banten has countless stories that can be presented to the public. Film acts as a bridge to make these stories more easily known, while encouraging more people to visit and experience first-hand the tourism experiences offered in Banten.
